Obsessive foodie turned tech

I have always been in love with food. I graduated high school hoping that one day I would be a professional chef. I have always been a creative person, but food was my calling. Off to culinary school I went. I graduated in 2018 with my Associates degree in Culinary Arts and my Bachelors degree in Food and Beverage Entrepreneurship. I worked days, nights, weekends and holidays in the kitchens of some of my favorite places here in Charlotte. I was happy, but not happy enough.

UX design was my next adventure. I wanted to be creative. I wanted to be able to apply my (exhausting) curiosity to things that mattered. I wanted to solve problems. I wanted to talk to people.

I am obsessed with creating meaningful experiences that people love. I want to be able to use my creativity in a more impactful way and UX design allows me to do just that.

If I am not spending my time on improving my design skills, you’ll likely find me snuggling my cat Olive and rabbit Potato (I told you I am a foodie). Video gaming and reading are also high on the list of things I spend my time doing. A Nintendo Switch fan all day.
